About LAVTAS

LAVTAS was born from the union of two meaningful words: LAV — inspired by the Turkish concept of lava turning into stone, symbolizing strength and permanence, and also representing our founder Laura. TAS comes from the founder's surname, Taşova.

Just as lava transforms over time into solid, unique stone, LAVTAS turns everyday textiles into lasting works of art — stitch by stitch.

Who We Are

Our journey begins in Negrești, a small town in the Constanța region of Romania, and extends across Europe. At LAVTAS, we combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, giving every product a soul of its own.
